Beau Forbes is an Advanced Cicerone, Certified Bourbon Steward, and Certified Cider Professional and has been working in craft beer since 2013. Beau has judged dozens of competitions including the the Great American Beer Festival, the Festival of Barrel Aged Beers, The Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition, and began as a certified beer judge with the Beer Judge Certification program.

Beau has done stints at Goose Island Beer Co. and Finch Brewery, the latter at which he helped found the QC program. Currently Beau is the Midwest Craft Manager for Prairie Malt, a division of Boortmalt and one of the largest providers of malted barley in the world. He is a proud BevTest panelist and enjoys judging wine, beer, and spirits but has a special focus on craft beer.
