Dark amber color. Aromas and flavors of ripe red cherries with vanilla whipped cream, honeycomb and pecan pie, toffee and mocha, and roasted cereal with a satiny, dry medium-to-full body and a warming, huge, very long finish with overtones of shortbread with a bit of pepper, very dark chocolate with hints of brandied cherry, baklava and dates, and banana and orange. A classic example of a properly aged Rye Whiskey; everything you expect from the category.
