Radlers and Shandies are beers mixed with lemonade, lemon soda, or other citrus juices or sodas. The styles originated in Germany and England, respectively, and are now common in other countries. Because of their fruity sweet nature, they are particularly refreshing and carefree summer sippers, even for those that don't normally drink or even enjoy beer. The base beer is usually a lighter style lager or ale and their ABVs rarely go above 5%.
