Lambrusco is both a red wine grape variety and, in this case, the name of a wine produced from that grape. It is produced in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy and its sparkles/frizzante come from three different methods of production: Charmat method, metodo ancestrale, and méthode traditionnelle. Lambruscos vary in bubble size, flavor, and sweetness, so be sure to try a few to determine which style is your favorite.
