Medium amber color. Aromas and flavors of chestnuts over a floral peat fire, chocolate dusted grilled pecan, Scottish fudge, figs, and leather, and red fruit bbq sauce on grilled pork belly with a round, lively, dry medium body and a tingling, very complex, long finish with notes of cocoa dusted dried red fruits, grilled orange peels, apricot, plum, and figs, toasted hazelnut and sweet rooibos tea, and plum sauce and scottish fudge. Make sure an empty bottle of this is on the funeral pyre as everyone in attendance should be sipping this dram; would wear as a cologne and would drink the whole bottle.

Island Whisky refers to whisky made on the islands off the Scottish mainland, except for Islay. This includes the Orkney Isles; and the Western Islands (Arran, Jura, Mull, and Skye). These whiskies are characterized by various levels of smokiness and a distinctive, ethereal sea air quality.
