Straw color. Aromas and flavors of sweet roasted agave and lemongrass, sea salted plantain chips, orange blossom honey, lime, salt, and and black pepper with a round, lively, dry light-to-medium body and a warming, elegant, medium-long finish manifesting suggestions of toasted seeds, blistered sweet peppers, candied lime, and lemon pepper and green herbs. Hot damn, an Añejo with the balance skewed towards the agave and the use of barrel to highlight baking spice and sweet peppers rather than overwhelm with vanilla; huzzah!
