Amaro Dell’Etna
Etna Spritz Aperitivo

Category: Aperitivo

Date Tasted:
Country: Italy
Alcohol: 11%
Neon light ruby color. Aromas and flavors of red Fruit Loops, blood orange and Valencia orange peels, wormwood, and grapefruit candy and pomegranate with a round, crisp, fruity medium body and a tingling, charming, medium-long finish that exhibits accents of candied bitter orange peel, tart cherry pits and cranberry, wormwood, and vanilla taffy. Feels like a craft and authentico orange aperitivo; tasty on its own if you like the profile but fantastic in a spritz or cocktail.

Serve in a Copita
Broadly speaking, an aperitivo drink is any beverage intended to "open up the palate" and is drunk before a meal. An aperitivo liqueur is typically bitter, light, and served in spritz with sparkling wine and/or mineral water. Campari and Aperol are two well-known products in this category.
