Dark garnet color. Aromas of leather and tobacco, cedar, grilled bell pepper, and red and black currants with a full body and a long cassis, black cherry and eucalyptus, blackberry and plum, and cocoa nibs finish. Ripe and vibrant fruit with restrained oak influence and excellent structure lead to a Bordeaux style blend that punches above its weight class.

High-quality wines, without the Bordeaux price tag, can be found throughout the southwestern (or, in French, "Sud-Ouest") part of France. At 120,000 acres, the South West of France is the country's 5th largest wine region, being divided into four subregions of its own (Bergerac & Dordogne River, Garonne & Tarn, Lot River, and Pyrénées); each possessing distinctive climates, character, and grapes.
