Aromas and flavors of chocolate powder, black plum, black cherry, and leather with a velvety, lively, dry medium body and a tingling, medium-length finish with impressions of cocoa nibs, black cherry, plum and leather, and cigar box with grippy, woody, coating tannins and a suggestion of oak flavor. With complexity at the front and back end, this would make a fine red table wine for a variety of dinner pairings.
