Garnet black color. Aromas and flavors of blackberry tart, spiced praline, herbs and peppercorns, and raisins and craisins with a satiny, bright, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a tingling, interesting, medium-long finish with notes of roasted berries and root vegetables and cocoa with well-integrated, chewy tannins and moderate oak flavor. A chewy, savory, woody red that will be great at the table with some Mediterranean dishes.

Graciano

Graciano is a black-skinned grape from northern Spain, mostly grown in the Navarra and Rioja regions. It can be found in small quantities in Australia and California, and in the Languedoc it is grown in small amounts under the name Morrastel. It produces oakier wines with moderate tannins, deep hues, and is very aromatic (think chocolate and violets) as most Riojas are aged in oak. These wines pair well with meatier fare.
