Golden straw color. Aromas and flavors of green melon, white flowers, sourdough and honeysuckle, and quince paste and yellow apple with a round, vibrant, dry medium body and a tingling, compelling, medium-length finish displaying notes of apricot and quince, oxidized yellow apple, white and yellow flowers, and butternut squash and zucchini blossom. A food friendly white wine with nice yellow fruit and floral notes that will pair well with cheese or compliment a stuffed squash aperitif.

Armenian white wines are made from a mixture of indigenous varieties such as Khatun Kharji and Rkatsiteli as well as international varieties such as Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. These are refreshing, distinctive whites with bright floral and fruit notes (green apples, apricots), often with a light herbal edge. Medium-bodied and dry, these offer good value and should be consumed within their first three to five years; pair with sautéed fish, simple chicken preparations of vegetable risotto.
