Deep purple color. Aromas of dark chocolate, wet soil, cracked pepper, and boysenberry with an tangy, dry medium-to-full body and an interesting, medium-long blackberry, aviation cocktail, smoke, and tomatillo finish with grippy tannins and a suggestion of oak flavor. A big powerful, full-bodied wine, good for pairing with a hearty stew.
