Amber color. Aromas and flavors of maple coconut danish, chocolate toffee, pickled peppers and melon rinds, and hint of Coleman’s fuel and Elmer’s glued wood with a satiny, bright, fruity fat body and a hot, engaging, long finish with impressions of tres leche cake, caramelized spiced fruits and nuts, spumoni ice cream, grilled chili peppers, and cedar and lava stones. Sit down and hold onto your seat as this is a massive, flame-throwing beast of a Bourbon that needs some water to tame and savor like a box of chocolates.

American Straight Whiskey

An American straight whiskey is one that less than 160 proof (80% ABV) from a fermented mash of at least 51% corn, rye, malted barley, wheat or malted rye and has been age for at least two years in charred oak barrels. Straight whiskies may be produced from a blend of straight whiskies produced in the same state. Offering a coper or amber color and displaying notes of caramel, toffee and baking spices among others, these are generally used for mixing with soda or tonic or used in cocktails.
