Summer sun sure does make us thirsty, which is why the Tastings.com team has whipped up a few delicious quenchers for you to sip and share.


Sunshine and bubbles are a perfect match, so why not make a bright and beautiful floral spritz?

- 3 oz Chloe Rose Prosecco DOC
- 1.5 oz Joseph Cartron Sureau Elderflower Liqueur
- .5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters

Combine ingredients in a large wine glass with ice, top with sparkling mineral water, and garnish with a juicy slice of grapefruit.

Looking for a non-alcoholic option?

- 4 oz Perrier Peach Flavored Mineral Water
- 1.5 oz Lyres Italian Orange
- .5 oz fresh lemon juice

Combine just like the spritz above without the additional sparkling topper. Garnish with a slice of blood orange.

Fresh herbs are summer's greatest gift to our senses, meaning it's time to make a Mojito!

- 8 mint leaves
- .5 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 slices of lime
- .5 oz simple syrup
- 1.5 oz Chesapeake Bay Distillery Chicks Beach Rum
- .5 oz Merlet Creme De Fraise Strawberry Liqueur

Rub mint leaves in your hands, then drop into a tall glass followed by your lime slices, simple syrup, and lime juice. Press down on lime slices with muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to release juices. Add ice, rum, and strawberry liqueur, then swizzle until combined. Top with more ice, a splash of mineral water, and garnish with a fresh bushel of mint and a fresh strawberry.

For a no-jito (AKA a booze-free mojito), substitute 2 oz of Lyres Aperitif Dry Non Alcoholic Spirit in lieu of the rum and liqueur and add an extra .5 oz of simple syrup.

Sometimes we overbook ourselves to the point of exhaustion in pursuit of living every summer hour to its fullest potential. Enter: boozy iced coffee.

- 3 oz of your favorite coffee, cold
- 1 oz Dooleys Toffee Cream Liqueur OR Sugarlands Distilling Co. Banana Pudding Appalachian Sippin Cream Liqueur OR Bumbu Creme Liqueur (you cannot go wrong with any of these three)

In a rocks glass with ice, add your coffee and liqueur of choice. You're done. Your drink is ready. If you want extra credit, add whipped cream. If you are really ready to relax, add a decadent splash of The Busker Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. If you just wanna stick with one kind of buzz, swap out the ounce of liqueur for an ounce of Lyres Amaretti Non Alcoholic Spirit and DEFINITELY add the whipped cream.

Just because it's summer doesn't mean you don't want something good and boozy! Hello, Vesper!

- 1.5 oz Purity Spritz Mediterranean Citrus Flavored Vodka
- 1 oz Bluecoat American Dry Gin
- .5 oz Cinzano Bianco Vermouth

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, then shake until the shaker is too cold to hold. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a lemon twist. Drink while wearing a tuxedo swim suit.
