Deep purple color. Aromas and flavors of blueberry cobbler a la mode, dark caramel apple, and graphite with a supple, tangy, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a graceful, interesting, medium-long finish that shows notes of pomegranate puree, cocoa-dusted nuts and orange peels, and herbal tea with chewy tannins and light oak flavor. A wonderfully juicy, chewy and appetizing Spanish Red that will shine at the table.

Graciano is a black-skinned grape from northern Spain, mostly grown in the Navarra and Rioja regions. It can be found in small quantities in Australia and California, and in the Languedoc it is grown in small amounts under the name Morrastel. It produces oakier wines with moderate tannins, deep hues, and is very aromatic (think chocolate and violets) as most Riojas are aged in oak. These wines pair well with meatier fare.
