Silvery emerald straw color. Aromas of ripe apple, strawberry danish, pineapple, japanese sweet potato, and lemongrass with a supple, crisp, dry medium body and a tingling, crisp hints of lime, stone, and peppercorns finish. A solid Genshu Sake.

Genshu Sake

Genshu literally means “cask strength”, and is used to describe sake that has not been diluted. All saké is fermented at 20% alcohol and most have distilled water added to lower the alcohol content to 14-16%. Genshu saké is very full bodied/flavored and should be paired with dishes that are similarly robust in nature.
