Silvery emerald straw color. Aromas of banana taffy and green pepper with a satiny, vibrant, dryish light-to-medium body and a smooth, interesting, medium-length banana cake, dried peach and apples in vinaigrette finish. Bold fruity aromatics stand out in this domestic Genshu Sake.

Genshu Sake

Genshu literally means “cask strength”, and is used to describe sake that has not been diluted. All saké is fermented at 20% alcohol and most have distilled water added to lower the alcohol content to 14-16%. Genshu saké is very full bodied/flavored and should be paired with dishes that are similarly robust in nature.
