Yellow straw color. Aromas of lime custard and dried flowers with a satiny, crisp, petillant, sweet light-to-medium body and a silky, rapid honey on peach pie and elderflower finish with no oak flavor. A peachy-sweet Moscato that will pair well with sweet or spicy foods.

Moscato - known as Muscat in some countries - is one of Italy's most charming wines. It is generally made as a slightly sparkling wine known as a frizzante. These are delightful wines that are light in body - usually less than 6% alcohol - and have beautiful fragrances of apricot, peach, orange blossom, lilies and ginger with a lightly sweet finish that is very delicate and not all all heavy.

The most famous example is Moscato d'Asti from the Piedmont region, but there are other Mosquitos produced in the Veneto region, under the Pave designation. These are delicious and serves as palate cleansers at the end of a meal after a big red wine. If you prefer to serve them with food, go with fresh strawberries or peaches or a simple pound cake. Drink them within their first or second year and enjoy!
