Aromas and flavors of prunes and dried figs, well worn polished leather and cigar box, caramel apples and figgy toffee pudding, cinnamon, mushroom, and and old library with a round, lively, dry medium-to-full body and a warming, very complex, very long finish manifesting suggestions of five spice roasted dried red apple with dark cocoa dust, figs and pipe tobacco with candied black walnuts, cinnamon dust and black tea, and leather and cocoa nibs. Rancio, leather, and tannins with dried apple and dark red fruits; an acquired taste but there is nothing else like exquisitely aged Armagnac.
