Golden amber color. Aromas and flavors of dill, cinnamon and caraway, candied orange, and milk chocolate coated raisins with a satiny, bright, dryish full body and a tingling, complex, medium-long finish that shows accents of caraway, dill, and baking spices, toasted rye bread, rock candy, and red sweet tarts. More sweet and fruity than traditional examples, but well crafted and a delightful sipper in its own right.

Aquavit, or "water of life" is a flavored spirit, most famously originating from Scandanavia. Distilled from either grain or potatoes, it is flavored with herbs or spices; alcohol is traditionally around 40%.

While some versions are clear, most have some hue, often light straw, as they are flavored with herbs such as caraway, cumin or anise, while some contain caramel coloring. Aquavit is served neat.
