Hazy IPA

Hazy golden yellow color. Aromas and flavors of orange creamsicle freshly unwrapped from the warm plastic on a summer’s afternoon, dried apricot, tangerine, and yeast starter with a round, tangy, spritzy, dryish medium body and a charming, medium-length finish displaying nuances of orange, lemon cream, pastry dough with green herbs. On the leaner & lighter side for a category that tends towards excess; still keeps that New England style quite well and the haze doesn’t disappoint.

New England Style IPAs, often abbreviated to NEIPA, are juicy, hazy American Style IPAs with intensely fruity, floral, hoppy flavors. They differ from other American Style IPAs in their unfiltered haze that can be attributed to dry-hopping, the use of high-protein grains, certain yeasts, among other brew choices. NEIPAs are currently enjoying huge popularity and drinkers are buying cans of the cloudy, juicy style in droves.
