Straw color. Aromas and flavors of caramelized pear, yellow flowers, star anise, puff pastry with creme, beeswax, and peony with a satiny, vibrant, fruity medium body and a smooth, medium-length finish that shows notes of pez candies, lemon zest, and hourglass sand with a suggestion of oak flavor. A fresh Vernaccia with mouthwatering acidity; a nice pairing for buttery lobster.

Tuscany Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Wine Glass White.jpg
Serve in a White Wine Glass
Vernaccia di San Gimignano is Tuscany's premier indigenous white wine and its only white DOCG. From the ancient village of San Gimignano and made from the Vernaccia grape (hence the composition of the name), these wines are bright and citrusy with a slightly bitter finish.
