Floral aromas and flavors of lilacs and honeysuckle and watermelon with a silky, crisp, fruity light-to-medium body and a smooth, delightful, medium-long finish with notes of apple and passionfruit and guava with fine, fruit tannins and no oak flavor. A delightfully fresh and floral rose with a truly charming personality.

Vin de Pays Rose
Vin de Pays Rosé are rosé wines that are designated as a Vin de Pays or country wine from one of about 50 different departments (territories) in France. One of the most popular of these is Vin de Pays d'Oc from the Languedoc-Roussilon area in southern France, while Vin de Pays Vignobles de France represents the entire winemaking territories of France.

There are several red varieties that can be used to make a Vin de Pays Rosé, which are produced with minimal skin contact, as with most rosés. These varieties include Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

These rosés are light to medium-bodied and generally are dry or off-dry with moderate tannins and an earthy finish. Pair with simple bistro food such as salads or roast chicken.
