Deep purple color. Aromas and flavors of berries with balsamic, chocolate toffee and raisins, and toasted tomato focaccia with a satiny, bright, dry-yet-fruity fat body and a graceful, layered, very long finish with notes of olive and pepper relish and spiced nuts with crunchy, well-integrated tannins and moderate oak flavor. A brilliantly structured and spicy Amarone-like red blend with generous high-toned fruit and crunchy, appetizing tannins.

Other red is a large category that covers many red wines from around the globe that are made from lesser-known varieties. These include Albarossa and Ruché from Piedmont in Italy, Touriga from Virginia and numerous blended reds from California, Washington and other states in the US as well as Argentina, Chile and Spain.
