Session IPA's are lower alcohol, "sessionable" beers with a similar flavor profile and style as American style IPAs. They are deep gold to amber in color and usually fall below 5% in alcohol unlike their boozier counterparts, American style IPAs. They are characterized by floral and citrus hop aromas and a distinctive hop bitterness on the finish.
