Brilliant light garnet color. Aromas and flavors of raspberries, baked oak, raspberry saltwater taffy, and dried straw with an lively, fruity sweet medium body and a captivating, swift finish with cottony tannins and no oak flavor. A better than average quality example.

Brachetto is a red wine from Piedmont; while it can be a dry wine, its most famous version is a slightly sparkling dessert wine called Brachetto d'Acqui. This is somewhat of a red version of the popular Moscato d'Asti; Brachetto has flavors of red cherry, cranberry and strawberry with a light sweetness. The wine has around only 6% alcohol and is meant to be consumed very fresh with strawberries, peaches or pound cake with vanilla ice cream.
