Bright golden amber color. Aromas and flavors of margherita pizza and tomato foccacia with cracked pepper, banana kefir, roasted nuts, and earth with a supple, bright, finely carbonated, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a complex, long finish with notes of spicy apple bread pudding, lettuce, and minerals finish. A robust, fruity and earthy wheat ale with a distinctive personality.

Wheat Ale

Wheat ales are light straw to gold in color and range in alcohol from 4-6%. These beers may be filtered or unfiltered resulting in a hazy hue. These beers can vary in flavor and aroma with some versions of the style being more hop forward and others closer to the classic German weizen hefe style. This generic category encapsulates the diverse interpretation of the classic German weizen styles brewed in America and elsewhere. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Samuel Adams Coastal Wheat, Firestone Walker Solace and Lagunitas A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin.
