Hazy mahogany color. Nutty, woody aromas and flavors of black strap molasses and licorice, butter roasted nuts, sour cherry yogurt, and tomato focaccia with a satiny, bright, finely carbonated, fruity medium body and a easy finish displaying notes of cinnamon raisin toast, nut skin, cedar and Spanish moss, and bitter greens and bark finish. A surprisingly soft and easy quad for the table.

Trappist or Abbey Quadrupel

A Quadrupel ale as the name and math implies, is an even stronger version of a Belgian Tripel ale and can be thought of as Belgian strong ale. It has rich, chewy malt and typical Belgian yeast complexity with warming high alcohol (9-14%ABV) and a dark color. These are best savored in small quantities on their own, or with desserts or rich cream cheeses.
