Opaque brown black color. Aromas and flavors of chocolate mint and halva and alpine herbs with a satiny, bright, finely carbonated, fruity medium body and a tingling, medium-length finish with notes of chocolate dusted nuts, Swiss chard, grapefruit marmalade on dark pumpernickel toast, and root beer float finish. A wonderfully balanced hoppy chocolate stout that is sure to please.

Flavored stouts are brown to dark brown and average between 6.5-8.5% in alcohol with variations depending on the interpretation of the style. They can be sweet or dry and commonly derive their flavor from dark fruits, coffee, and chocolate added during the brewing process in addition to the standard malt, hops, yeast and water. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Rogue Double Chocolate Stout, Young’s Double Chocolate Stout and New Glarus Coffee Stout.
