Burnt sienna color. Aromas and flavors of chocolate-covered toffee, toasted pumpernickel, carob, and nuts in caramel with a silky, crisp, dryish light body and a smooth, refreshing, medium-length finish with suggestions of washed rind cheese on peppered sourdough cracker finish. A light but malty Bock that offers a toasty sipping experience.

Bocks range in color from pale to deep amber and in alcohol from 6-7%. These beers are an exposition of malty sweetness that is classically associated with the character and flavor of Bavarian malt. Hop aromas are generally low, though hop bitterness can serve as a balancing factor against the malt sweetness. Bocks are a specific type of strong lager, historically associated with Germany-- specifically the town of Einbeck. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Full Sail LTD 01, Stiegl Bock and Anchor Bock.
