Clear gold color. Aromas and flavors of zucchini-banana bread, oily nuts, flaxseeds and maca, and banana and grape peels with a supple, crisp, effervescent, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a breezy finish revealing nuances of orange bran muffin and pumpkin tart finish. A pleasant easy-drinking wheat ale, with hardly any wit character.

Witbier or wit beers are pale straw to deep golden in color and range in alcohol from 4.5-5%. These unfiltered beers are a style of flavored wheat beer, and derive much of their flavoring from bitter curaçao orange peel, coriander and other spices. This style is distinctly Belgian in origin and has seen resurgence in recent decades. It is now widely produced in the US as a summer seasonal. Noteworthy example of this style include: Hoegaarden White Beer, Unibroue Blanche de Chambly, and Brouwerij de Gouden Boom Blanche de Bruges. Pair with Thai noodles or baked chicken.
