Gold color. Aromas and flavors of toasty banana soufflé and meringue, papaya-pepper relish, toasted lemon herb muffin, and watercress with a slightly chewy, bright, finely carbonated, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a graceful, complex, long finish that exhibits nuances of buttered fruit cake, nougat, and delicate spice finish. A fantastically chewy, flavorful and nuanced Belgian blonde ale.

Belgian Style Blonde Ale

Belgian style blondes are light straw to gold in color and range in alcohol from 6-8%. This is not a classic style of Belgian ale, but covers the more commercially-minded Belgian ales that are moderate in both body and alcohol. Fruity Belgian yeast character and mild hopping should be expected. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Leffe Blonde, La Trappe Blond and Affligem Blond.
