What is Cava?
Cava is the term used in Spain for sparkling wines that are made using the same method as that perfected in Frances Champagne district, the worlds most famous region for sparkling wines. While a good Cava will rarely be confused with a top Champagne, it will still be quite pleasant. Additionally, Cava can be a great value with most selling for $10 or less! Fresh and lively in style, Cava is inexpensive enough to be an everyday drink between special occasion splurges on Champagne.
