Deep garnet black color. Aromas of chocolate, leather, dried berries and meats with a chewy, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a tangy blueberry, praline, mocha and spice finish. Great varietal character, structure and intensity. Pair with bison and elk. (tasted on Aug-19-2013)
