Deep violet color. Aromas of oily coffee bean, seared ham, cocoa, lemon verbena, and red clay follow through on a brisk entry to a dryish medium body with tart black cherry and pepper flavors and a warm, raisin and mineral fade with firm, dusty tannins. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)

Deep garnet violet color. Aromas of singed cedar, dark toffee, and black raspberry jam follow through on a supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with excellent depth, structure, and a hint of heirloom tomato. Finishes with tangy warm berry compote, slate, and white pepper accented fade. A lovely, balanced table wine to serve with smoked meats and fajitas. (tasted on Jul-04-2009)

Deep purple black color. Aromas plums, cocoa powder, and figs have a floral perfumed quality and follow though on a soft, buoyant entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with notes of pencil shavings and peppery spice on the crisp, cottony tannin fade. (tasted on Jul-06-2009)

Deep garnet purple color. Rich aromas of chocolate covered berries, beeswax, and baking spices follow through on a round entry to a dryish medium-to-full body with good depth and an apple, dried currant, and chewy nutty tannin fade. Serve with ribeye steaks. (tasted on Jul-06-2009)

Deep garnet color. Aromas of toffee, chocolate covered coffee beans, tomato leaf,and raspberry cobbler follow through on a soft, round entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with crisp acidity, wet cedar, and baking spice notes. Finishes with quick, powdery tannin fade. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)

Aromas of blackberries, grilled pepper, apple skin, and vanilla pod follow through on a light, supple entry to a dryish medium body with tart cranberry, melon rind, and cacao nib notes. Finishes with a crisp, wispy tannin fade. A nice, elegant Old World styled table wine. (tasted on Jul-06-2009)
