Deep violet color. Rich, dimensional aromas of cassis liqueur, chocolate mint cookie, clay, and eucalyptus follow through on a plush entry to a fruity-yet-dry full body with layers of toffee, spice, and sage. Finishes with a super long, polished tannin fade. Exquisite; pair with filet mignon. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)

Opaque garnet color. Aromas of chocolate walnut brownies, dates, currants, seared bacon and earthy heirloom tomato follow through on a plush, velvety entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with layers of dried fruits, delicate anise, black olive, and mossy minerals. Finishes with a long, elegant, highly polished fade. A fantastically smooth and finesseful wine to pair with the finest filet mignon. (tasted on Jul-06-2009)

Opaque garnet black color. Poised aromas of dried cherries, cassis, eucalyptus, chocolate and peppery spice have an earthy minerality and follow through on a supple, satiny entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-full body with waves of dried fruits, herbs, praline, coffee, and a hint of grilled pork. Finishes with a long, resonant, lightly smoky chewy tannin fade. A lively and engaging cabernet to serve with crown roast of pork or prime rib. (tasted on Jul-06-2009)

Aromas of currant, roasted fennel, roasted almond and clay follow through on a round entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with ripe cherry and berry fruit and a touch of praline. Finishes nicely with crisp, juicy, soft tannin fade. An excellent lively sipper, or pair with pepper steak. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)

Mature, almost brett-like aromas of olive, saddle leather, fountain ink, dried tomato, and clay follow through on a round, sensuous entry to a dry medium-full body with layers on mossy earth, marinated mushrooms, herbs, and dried berries. Finishes with a long crayon, cigar box and pepper accented fade. A dead ringer for a mature Left Bank claret. Impressive! (tasted on Jul-06-2009)

Deep purple. Bright cassis and blueberry aromas and flavors with sweet currant pie and spice notes. Finishes with a touch of sour cherry and herbs. Cedary, sandalwood finish with chewy tannins. Very delicious, balanced and crowd pleasing. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)

Deep purple color. Polished aromas of coffee, chocolate, and cassis jam follow through on a smooth, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with Asian spices and pink peppercorns in support. Deep garnet color. Aromas of melted toffee, currants and grilled pepper follow through on a soft, round entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with nice depth and polished structure. Finishes with hints of coffee, fig, eucalyptus, and earth on the chewy tannin fade. Very nice; pair with prime rib. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)
