Pale garnet red to a light, brick rim. Morello cherries, lush strawberries, red plum, portobello mushrooms, vanilla, brown baking spice and freshly raked oak leaves. Bright and lively with a cherry core and medium-light body. Secondary complexity coming from flavors of wild mushroom, clove, leather and pepper. Silky and well-balanced with bright acidity, lush tannins and a long finish. (tasted on Sep-06-2013)
