Deep garnet color. Ripe jammy black currant, melted toffee, and Cajun spice aromas follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with great juicy berries and layers of chocolate and honeyed nuts. Finishes with a long, succulent fade with polished, superfine tannins. A delicious sipper or pair with spicy Mediterranean lamb dishes. (tasted on Feb-03-2010)

Inky purple color. Aromas of brownies with raspberry sauce, relish, and delicate oregano follow trough on a round, silky entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with vanilla peppermint bark and spice notes. Finishes with a tangy chewy fruit and oak tannin fade. Lively and fun; pair with Asian pork dishes. (tasted on Feb-03-2010)

Odd aromas of menthol tobacco, muddy peat, and wild berries on the vine follow through on soft, silky entry to a dryish medium-to-full body with tart cranberry chutney, saddle leather and horse hair brush notes. Finishes with a crisp, tart cherry skin and pit fade. A very interesting rustic wine, not without it's charms; pair with goat stew or venison. (tasted on Feb-03-2010)
