Inky violet color. Complex aromas of overripe mango-peach compote, sour cherry sauce, grilled pepper and apples, pine needles and toasty cedar follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with great smoothness and effortless depth. Finishes with a crisp, pencil shaving and berry fade with finely polished tannins. A delightful sipper or table wine reminiscent of a perfectly mature Pomerol; pair with steak au poivre.
