Deep garnet black color. Pure aromas of blueberry creme brulee, milk chocolate mousse, and clay with a supple dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a craisin, pistachio praline, and dusty spice finish. Nice balance, vibrancy and sense of place. (tasted on May-16-2011)

Bright aromas of honeycomb, grilled pepper, watermelon sorbet, capers, and cherries with a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a zesty refreshing, Meyer lemon, peach, incense and spice accented finish. An excellent table wine. (tasted on May-16-2011)

Dull garnet color. Forward aromas of raisin bran, cocoa butter, and cherry vinaigrette with a supple dry-yet-fruity medium body and a lively crunchy apple, prune and pomegranate molasses finish. A quirky, mature Old World style sangiovese that will work well at the table with duck dishes. (tasted on May-12-2011)

Deep garnet purple color. Smoky roasted nut, cherry creme brulee and chocolate covered fig aromas with a vibrant fruity-yet-dry medium body and tart pomegranate, cedar, pepper and mossy limestone notes riding out the finish. Very nice purity and style. (tasted on May-16-2011)

Masculine aromas of chocolate, bacon and coffee with a silky dry-yet-fruity medium body and a juicy-yet-dry cherry, nut skin, and mossy oak tree accented finish with strong, polite tannin. Charming. (tasted on May-12-2011)
