Deep violet color. Lovely aromas of fresh blueberry pie, cassis frosting, pork rind, and menthol follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium body with grilled and marinated pepper notes and a crisp, apple skin, fig, nut and talc-like tannin fade. A tasty wine to serve with grilled pork tenderloins. (tasted on Mar-23-2009)
