Dusty ruby color. Aromas of espresso creme brulee, muddy tomato bed, baked berry and cacao nibs follow through on a silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with praline and moss notes. Finishes with a piquant, dusty tannin fade. Very Old World in style with an appealing, easy drinking core of fruit. (tasted on Apr-15-2009)

Garnet color. Reserved aromas of black cherry jam on rye toast, delicate herbs, and orange blossom honey follow through on a bright, juicy entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium body with menthol, apple butter, and pomegranate notes.
