Strawberry jam, cracked white peppercorn, and cherry gelato aromas are inviting and follow through on a round entry to a dryish medium-to-full body with excellent balance and fine depth. Finishes with long, crisp and chewy apple skin, blueberry and peppercorn fade with firm, chewy, linen-like tannins. A delicious, textbook example of great Valpolicella. (tasted on Jun-14-2010)

Deep garnet color. Lovely fruity aromas of stewed Morello cherries, spicy toffeed nuts, and chocolate covered orange peels follow through on a round entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with very good depth and a tart, chewy cherry skin, nut, and baked apple accented finish. A very refreshing and food friendly offering. (tasted on Jun-14-2010)

Deep ruby black color with a red brick rim. Aromas of stewed cherries and tomatoes prunes, and peppery spice follow through on a silky entry to a fruity sweet medium body with bean paste and pickled beet notes. Finishes with a honeyed red apple and cherry liqueur accented fade. (tasted on Jun-14-2010)
