Dark garnet violet color. Aromas of pomegranate jam, perfumed plum, tomato, India ink, and clay have a mature claret quality and follow through on a supple entry to a dry medium body with forest forest and mossy stone notes. Finishes dryly in a tangy cherry pit, red leather tobacco,, and crabapple core fade with parchment paper like tannins. (tasted on Jan-12-2009)

Violet black color. Coffee candy, cranberry taffy aromas follow through on a soft, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with spiced nuts, green tomato, and citrus marmalade notes. Finishes with a long, tangy, pencil shaving and mint leaf accented fade. Very nice. (tasted on Jan-12-2009)

Cracked pepper, pickled okra, sandalwood, and delicate sweet spice aromas follow through on a soft, satiny entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with sour cherry, cranberry, and dark praline notes. Deep garnet color. Melted toffee, cedar, and grilled pepper aromas follow through on a smooth, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with vanilla pudding and mulberry note on the chewy tannin fade. A nicely proportioned red to serve with steaks. (tasted on Nov-15-2008)

Lightly smoky aromas of dark roasted nuts, dried cherry, cranberry, and delicate spice follow through on a soft, supple entry leads to a dryish medium body with good depth and a crisp cherry skin and blood orange rind accented finish with delicately chewy tannins. A nice choice for braised pork dishes. (tasted on Jan-12-2009)
