Deep garnet violet color. Mixed berry pie, praline, and spice aromas follow through on a rich, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with layers of ripe berry flavors supported by zesty, mouthwatering acidity. Finishes with long, refreshing spice and toffee fade with silky tannins. A smooth, flavorful, and delicious pinot for sipping or the table; try with duck a l'orange or salmon teriyaki. Rich garnet color. Toasted marshmallow, raspberry tart, and light toffee aromas follow through on a satiny, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with a touch of pencil shavings. Finishes with a crisp, baked berry, nutskin, pork fat, and lightly chewy tannin fade. A dry, deep and approachable pinot for the table; pair with roasted duck. (tasted on Dec-06-2008)
