Bright cranberry sauce, nougat and clay aromas and flavors with a tangy, fruity light-o-medium body and a gentle, juicy cranberry, spicy dolmades and chewy tannin finish. A spot of dolcetto with nice structure for the table; pair with bbq pork. (tasted on Nov-05-2012)
88 • Baravalle 2010 Dolcetto d'Asti DOC.
Attractive aromas of lilac, nougat, banana, lime leaf, and red berry compote with a supple, dry-yet-fruity light-o-medium body and a tart pomegranate ice, flower patch earth, and nutskin finish. A nice sipper or table wine; pair with spicy pork loins. (tasted on Nov-05-2012)

Garnet color. Aromas of dried cherries and raspberries, nuts and leather with a supple, dryish medium body and a earthy forest floor and craisin finish with firm, chewy tannins. A bit young, give this a year or two. (tasted on Nov-05-2012)
