Pale golden color. Melon custard, anise seed, and floral dried apricot aromas follow through on a soft, glycerous entry to dry-yet-fruity medium body with cream and pear skin notes. Finishes with a refreshing and crisp toasted meringue and citrus pudding accented fade. Nice balance and style; serve with blackened skate wing. (tasted on Nov-03-2008)

Pungent cat's pee, baked lime, and tomato leaf aromas are more akin to NZ sauvignon blanc than viognier and follow through on a round entry to a dryish medium body with grapefruit rind, tart peach skin, and straw flavors. Finishes with crisp, tangy fade. Odd, but refreshing pair with quail and spicy Asian chicken dishes. (tasted on Nov-03-2008)
