Garnet color. Toasty praline, spicy poached apple, and wet clay aromas follow through on a soft entry to a dryish medium body with prune, raisin nut chutney, and dusty spice notes. Finishes with a supple tannin and pomegranate accented fade. A nice, earthy claret style wine to serve with filet mignon. (tasted on Nov-14-2008)
