Dense aromas of berry compote, pickled beets, chocolate, and baking spices with a silky, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a tangy boysenberry preserves, candied violet, green apple, cedar and graphite finish. Flavorful and well balanced. (tasted on Jul-01-2013)

Ruby color. Aromas and flavors of talc, toasted marshmallows and dried bananas and berries with a crisp, dryish medium body and a tangy pomegranate, vanilla cream, and graphite powder finish with firm tannins. Nice now, but will be better in a couple of years. (tasted on Jul-01-2013)
