Black currant, cigar ash, dried cherry, dried black trumpet mushrooms, black volcanic soil, cedar and vanilla on the nose lead to a surprisingly light textured, but flavorful, medium body given the dark, fat aromas. Tannins are soft and acidity moderate to low. Not at all a typical cabernet, very interesting nose and easy to drink. (tasted on Sep-18-2012)
